Abstract

In this study, a qualitative paradigm of sports policy factors and stakeholders affecting the professional path of disabled athletes was designed as a model. The present study was a qualitative study that used thematic analysis approach. The statistical population of this study consisted of the President of the National Paralympic Committee, the Vice President, Secretary and members of the Executive Board of the National Paralympic Committee and the President of the Federation of Veterans and Disabled Sports, the Vice President and Secretary of the Federation and elites and experts in the field of Paralympic sports, who numbered 23 people. The sampling method was snowball and continued until theoretical saturation (up to 23 interviews). The factors of sports policy and stakeholders affecting the professional path of disabled athletes consisted of 4 categories (talent search, sports support, financial support, strategic perspective in Paralympic sports), 8 secondary concepts and 127 primary concepts. In the quantitative part, structural equation modeling was also used to indicate the suitability of the model.
