Youth and Sports Department staff in fars province

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of designing a feasibility model for the implementation of virtual education in the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of Fars. This research has been applied in terms of purpose and has been mixed (quantitatively and qualitatively) in terms of data collection method. The statistical population in the qualitative section included experts in the field of establishing virtual education and in a small section included all managers and employees of sports and youth in Fars province. The sample size was estimated in the qualitative section according to the saturation principle (20 people) and in the quantitative section by the census method of 328 people. Targeted sampling was used to select the sample in the qualitative part and class sampling was used in the quantitative part. Data collection tools, in the qualitative section, were semi-structured interviews and, to a lesser extent, the researcher-made questionnaire based on the five-point Likert scale. The formal validity of the questionnaire was reported according to the opinion of appropriate experts. The reliability of the questionnaire was obtained through Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.84. For data analysis, in the qualitative part, open coding and axial coding were used and in a small part, Kolmogorov and Smirnov tests, exploratory factor analysis, confirm atory factor analysis and single sample t were used. The results led to the identification of 6 dimensions, 13 components and 57 indicators, the naming of which was based on theoretical foundations.
